Radio Advertising and Jingles Examples

BBC Radio One Jingle
This jingle uses two or three different voices at different times and uses the phrase "we are the one" to fit with the station's name. This may make it stick in someone's mind. They also use music in the back maybe to transition into a song or to get someone ready and excited to listen to a song. The voices are of a man and woman which may be a way to show the radio station is for everyone.

BBC Radio 2 Jingle

The music for the jingles are very upbeat,probably to excite the listener. Whenever the station's name is sung,it is to the same tune which is to make it stick in someone's head. This may make them more likely to tune into the radio station again since it'd be on their mind.
                                                             
Adverts on Kiss FM
The X Factor games ad(0:23-32) uses an exciting voice and music as a way to make the product sound appealing. It also asks the question "how much can you win?" to make the listener want to find out by using the website.

The Army ad(0:33-1:02) uses the sounds of a kettle and mug to sound familiar and welcoming as a way to convince about "the sense of belonging"

The Bauer Academy ad (1:03-1:42)uses upbeat music to show the programme
is a good option. It also uses statements from people that have done
it to convince more people as hearing from someone's experience may
make people more inclined.

Capital FM Jingles
The jingle says "number one hit music station" as a way to keep people listening since it shows their quality. Like the BBC Radio 2 jingles "Capital" is sang the same way to stick in people's head or to be recognizable.


Old Radio City Jingles
The jingle is very repetitive to make it stay in people's head and to make them remember the station number. The music is very upbeat and has lot's of people singing at once maybe to make it sound appealing. The jingles say the station's qualities like "first with news,first with music"to try to hook people.
