Fire Text

Process

This is a combination of techniques to create these images. I used a mix of filters, the liquify tool, and transformation options like warp and skew. These were used to create a fire looking effect on the text. The liquify tool was used to stretch out parts of the letters like a fire. I think the second image looks better because the flicks look much better along with using another layer to have an effect on. I found it easier to make the flicks with the second font as it's curves and points worked in my favour, and when I used a smaller brush it was much easier to have a finer point.
