Image Resolution


Commentary
The resolution of an image helps with how clearly it is when viewed and zoomed in. An image with a high dpi looks very clear when zoomed in as shown above. Each image is at a different dpi but sized the same on each page. The lower dpi images are much more pixelated. When working with print products like a magazine its very important to use high dpi images to look good and professional. For black and white images its fine to use 72 dpi at all times as there is less need for more colour. For coloured images its good to use as large a dpi for your media as possible as the colours must be properly preserved to look good.
